The second half of your tour takes you to Ellis Island, New York City’s immigration depot from 1889 to 1954. Approximately 12 million immigrants passed through Ellis Island’s doors; nearly 40,000 were denied entrance. Follow through the footsteps of actual immigrants through Ellis Island.
WHERE: Tour departs from Castle Clinton at Battery Park at 8:20 am. We meet at the orange dot in the below picture. Please use our Google map for directions to the tour starting point. Tour ends on Liberty Island, where you can take your time to explore and then board the ferry for your return to Battery Park.
TIME: 8:30am (meet at 8:20am for check-in)
